Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT procedures, integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images
  • Perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images
  • Apply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor
  • Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated
  • Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards
Requirements
  • Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency required
  • PACS/RIS knowledge required; EPIC RIS, FUJI and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred
  • ARRT-R required at hire
  • Washington state Radiology Technologist license required at hire
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire
  • Advanced CT certification is required within 1 year of hire
