Job Summary:

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting equipment, and maintaining related records under the direction of senior imaging staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform standardized imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography
  • Set up and adjust related equipment and devices, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiology technology and procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible
  • Pass ARRT boards within 6 months of date of hire if registry eligible
  • 1 year of job-related experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand constantly, walk occasionally, and sit occasionally
  • Able to lift/carry 0-10 pounds frequently, 11-50 pounds occasionally
  • Able to push/pull 0-20 pounds frequently, 21-75 pounds occasionally
  • Able to reach constantly
  • Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping
