Job Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Unit, you will be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, including those with chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as pre and post-operative patients. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments and providing care for patients with chronic and terminal conditions.
  • Administering prescribed medications, including those requiring specialized certification.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient conditions, ensuring accurate electronic records.
  • Recognizing and responding to changes in patient health status.
  • Coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of NH or valid compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Chemotherapy certification preferred.
