Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Actalent is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting routine floor audits, monitoring production processes, and performing sensory evaluations and physical inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine floor audits to confirm correct product composition, specification, storage, packaging, labeling, and coding.
  • Assist in completion of compliance checks for production runs using paper or electronic records.
  • Monitor and document production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform sensory evaluations and physical inspections of juice products.
  • Collect and analyze samples for microbiological, chemical, and physical testing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality assurance activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Report any deviations from quality standards to the QA Manager and assist in corrective actions.
  • Ensure that all laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
  • Participate in internal audits and support external audits as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field.
  • 1+ years of food industry experience preferred, but not required.
