Job Title: Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Auburn, MA. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment
  • Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service
  • Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues
  • Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession

Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
  • Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
  • Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
  • Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
  • Meets background check eligibility
