Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Ascension St Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL. As a member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy to patients with cancer.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific areas of the patient's body
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment sessions
  • Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrist to develop treatment plans
  • Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards

Requirements

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required
  • Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months of hire date required
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
