Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Reser's. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safe chemical handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to our Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program and chemical labeling guidelines.
  • Responsible for safely cleaning the production facility and equipment, including dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment as needed.
  • Verify assigned areas are ready for sanitation and production.
  • Identify and report any equipment opportunities and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
Requirements
  • Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • OSHA knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
  • Spanish speaking is preferred.
Working Conditions

Our production facility is a refrigerated food manufacturing plant with a wet or dry environment and temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. You will be exposed to hazardous materials and waste, and will be required to lift, kneel, and bend with items in excess of 60 lbs.

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base hourly rate of $17.50 and a $2.00 shift differential per hour for non-exempt employees.
