Job Summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to inmates in a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological screenings and assessments to identify inmate needs and develop individual treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to inmates, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote mental health and well-being among inmates.
  • Conduct regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs.
  • Two years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
