Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A Hourly

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team at Ryder System in Cleveland, OH.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a Class A CDL license. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods across the country, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
  • Load and unload freight as required
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL license
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Weekly guarantee of $1250
  • Hourly pay: $25.00 per hour; overtime after 40 hours
  • Per diem pay: $50.00 per night
  • Personal mileage reimbursement and travel time paid
  • NST tenure bonus: pays $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31
  • Paid training
  • Schedule: 5 day work week with 2 consecutive days off
