Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN to join our team as a Preoperative and Recovery RN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the preoperative and recovery phases, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the preoperative and recovery phases, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential risks and complications, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities or concerns to the healthcare team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Michigan.
- At least 1 year of experience in a preoperative or recovery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a patient-centered approach.
