Are you passionate about keeping vehicles in top condition? Do you have a knack for troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment? We're seeking an experienced Automotive Equipment Technician to join our team at Verizon.

About the Role

This worksite-based position offers a unique opportunity to work with various types of vehicles, mobile tools, and equipment. As a Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet vehicles are ready for action at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all types of motor vehicles and special equipment in the Verizon fleet.
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems using computer test equipment.
  • Interface with vehicle users to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Conduct OSHA, ANSI, emissions, and state inspections on company vehicles.
  • Maintain required certifications and licenses.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanic or relevant field.
  • CDL License or Commercial Learner's Permit (CDL required within 6 months).
  • Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
