Job Summary

The Travel Nurse RN will provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and test results to identify potential areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing, timing, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, timely records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and lab results.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A valid RN license in the state of employment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
