The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic is seeking skilled Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team in Minnesota. Our practice includes ERs in multiple locations, providing a diverse and challenging environment for healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications
- Perform a variety of procedures, including laceration repair, I&D, lumbar puncture, intubation, and fracture reductions
Requirements:
- Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program (Nurse Practitioner)
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice (Physician Assistant)
- Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner)
- Registration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS certification
