Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team at Aeko Kula, LLC. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on airport equipment, including diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process work orders, obtaining necessary tools and materials for repairs.
  • Transport vehicles to the service bay, using tugs or forklifts as needed.
  • Inspect parts and vehicles to identify defective or broken components.
  • Repair diesel engines and systems, obtaining replacement parts as required.
  • Collaborate with supervisors for complex repairs, seeking approval for part ordering and direction.
  • Complete work orders and provide status updates on open work orders.
  • Perform additional duties, including battery changes.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in airport equipment or automotive repair shop.
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel/automotive equipment, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Able to learn new duties within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Must have own tools and be able to operate various power and hand tools safely.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check, and security threat assessment.
