About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Safe Harbor Ohio as a Treatment Specialist. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can provide a supportive and caring environment for our residents.

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and modeling healthy relationships and connections for girls aged 14-18 under assigned supervision. You will also create a safe environment that connects our residents to their worth in Christ, and provide structure and nurture while using a trauma-minded approach.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Support Residents: Supervise and support residents at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Implement Treatment Plans: Implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral support plans, working closely with the team to ensure each resident receives personalized care.
  • Maintain Safety: Maintain child and campus safety by following Safe Crisis Management (SCM) guidelines for de-escalation and Emergency Safety Physical Interventions (ESPI's).
  • Document Incidents: Document incidents, logs, and other various forms according to licensing expectations, maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with the team/other staff, both verbally and in writing, regarding treatment progress, planning decisions, problems, etc.
