Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competencies and stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to other nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- At least 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
