This is a critical role in supporting teachers in providing quality academic and enrichment activities for all students. The successful candidate will assist in creating a learning environment that enhances the academic character and social-emotional skills of all students.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist teachers in implementing culturally responsive practices to support students in improving their literacy skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and leadership to promote a positive and rigorous learning environment.
- Support students in various academic and non-academic activities, including clerical duties, library tasks, and student supervision.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience working in schools with children and families to support diverse learners.
