We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Afterschool Preschool Teacher to become part of our team at Children's Discovery Center. As the largest privately owned preschool in Wake County, we pride ourselves on our personalized approach to early childhood education. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in childcare or education and be passionate about creating a safe and engaging learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement age-appropriate activities that cater to the needs of preschool-aged children.
  2. Foster a sense of community and belonging among students, teachers, and parents.
  3. Establish open lines of communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
  4. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration and creativity.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
