Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the organization in the use of AI solutions to deliver top-tier commercial and money movement applications and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs, define AI features, and translate these into architectural designs and AI algorithms.
  • Develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure AI/ML architectures.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to guide the implementation of AI/ML solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of existing AI/ML models and architectures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to the AI/ML and engineering teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies, architectural patterns, and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deploy innovative technology solutions in the AI & ML space.
  • Develop architectural and technical documentation to guide the engineering teams during the development and implementation stages.
  • Support AI best practices through code examples and sharable components, frameworks, and libraries.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI/ML, architecture, and software development.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within the Payments industry, with a strong focus on architectural design, Generative AI, and software development.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI algorithms, and their application.
  • Experience with commercial and open-source large language models (LLM), popular machine learning learning platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Spring AI, and similar AI/ML tools.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting engineering teams in the implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI models in production environments.
  • Proven experience with data processing, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
