Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Clinic Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As an Occupational Clinic Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis of disease or injury by operating various radiographic equipment and performing radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to develop x-rays and obtain reports
  • Prepare x-rays for review by physicians and send films to Hackley Radiology for reading
  • Perform drug screens, breath alcohol testing, audiograms, pulmonary function testing, EKGs, vision testing, respirator fit testing, vitals, immunizations, TB testing, and blood draws
  • Maintain certifications in drug testing, breath alcohol testing, CAOHC certification, and NIOSH certification for pulmonary function testing
Requirements
  • Registered X-Ray Tech certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant program of study through an accredited medical assistant program that includes medical terminology coursework
  • Recent graduate from a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or completed Medical Assistant training or its equivalent during U.S. military services within the past five years
  • Prior experience in one of the following roles: Paramedic, EMT, or CAN (preferred)
  • Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program (preferred)
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA)
  • BLS Certification required
  • Paramedic License (preferred)
