Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing clinical programs, making recommendations, and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document care plans and therapy programs
  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated
  • Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered
  • May supervise and direct nursing staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required
  • Cardiology experience preferred
