UPMC Kane is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our cardiac rehabilitation program, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from heart conditions and improve their overall health.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with heart conditions, including those with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases.
  • Conduct non-invasive cardiology testing, including 12-lead EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in cardiac rehabilitation through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
  • Active membership in professional organizations, such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
