- Maintain and repair equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
- May also operate robotic welding equipment, requiring advanced technical skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with various welding equipment and procedures, including TIG and MMA.
- Proficiency in using electrical and manual tools, such as saws, squares, and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective gear.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program may be required.
- Professional certification, such as an AWS welding certificate, is highly valued.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED (or relevant experience in lieu of).
