Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in orthopedic care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence by identifying and reporting potential risks, near misses, and adverse events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure a positive and supportive experience.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Montana.
  • 2+ years of experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
