Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, gathering both objective and subjective assessment data.
  • Contribute as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team, providing insights for care decisions.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, immunizations, health screenings, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Document patient care accurately and adhere to all regulatory standards.
  • Communicate test results to patients under the guidance of the primary care provider.
  • Coordinate medical care with other healthcare providers for referred patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Level I: Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or scientific field.
Level II: Associate's degree or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Level III: Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.

Substitutions for Experience:
Additional relevant education may substitute for experience at a rate of one year of education for one year of required experience.

Minimum Skills and Abilities:
  • Understanding of nursing practices, processes, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to apply nursing knowledge to patient care situations.
Minimum Technology Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with common healthcare software applications.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Alabama Nursing License is required.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous management experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records.
  • Background in nursing practices.
