Job Overview

As a pivotal member of the Frito-Lay team, Warehouse Material Handlers engage in a diverse range of tasks typical of a conventional warehouse environment. With over 80 years of excellence in snack production and distribution, Frito-Lay is integral to PepsiCo's success.

Our operations run around the clock, which may result in non-standard work hours. As a Full-Time associate, you can expect to work between 40 and 50 hours weekly, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings options such as a 401(k) with company contributions, vacation days, and more.

Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding. Candidates should be prepared to be on their feet throughout the shift. Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently loading and unloading individual cases from trailers onto pallet boards and moving them within the warehouse.
  • Safely operating a forklift to load and unload pallets in a busy warehouse setting.
  • Storing products securely in multi-tiered warehouse storage systems.
  • Meeting or exceeding individual performance standards.
  • Collecting and transporting empty pallets to designated areas.
  • Picking cases according to orders using necessary technology.
  • Receiving training and obtaining certification for forklift operation.
  • Loading trailers using carts or stacking cases directly in the trailer.
  • Assisting with product inventory and rotation.
  • Managing warehouse inventory through handheld scanners and the Inventory Control System (ICS).
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Performing general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required.
  • Completing other assigned duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as needed.
  • Ability to lift between 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch as required.
  • Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
