Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Toddler Teacher Leader to join our team at the Riverside Children's Center. The successful candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Compensation: $48,000 - $58,000 per year

About the Role

The Toddler Teacher Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive child development program that meets the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of each child. This includes creating a positive classroom atmosphere, supervising assistant teachers, and collaborating with parents to set goals for their child's development.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be physically able to perform the job of a teacher of young children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive child development program that meets the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of each child.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children.
  • Supervise and manage a child development program within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with parents to set goals for their child's development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of child progress and program evaluation.
Requirements
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • EEC certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to perform the job of a teacher of young children.
