Firefighter Captain

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firefighter Captain to join our team. As a Firefighter Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing a team of firefighters, responding to emergency incidents, and ensuring the safety of our customers and employees.

• Supervise and oversee a team of firefighters, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to respond to emergency incidents.
• Respond to emergency incidents, including fire suppression, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials spills.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of emergency response equipment and vehicles.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination during emergency incidents.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a firefighter, with 5+ current certifications in fire protection and/or related field.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with ability to adapt to changing situations.
