Job Summary:

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians, and operating cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians.
Operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer, Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, General Radiography is also required in addition to Nuclear Medicine, State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
