About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team as an Equipment Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver equipment to customers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including semi-trucks and trailers, consistent with DOT classification CDL-A.
  • Maintain accurate driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies to customers as needed, based on their specific requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle, with a strong understanding of DOT regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift items up to 45 pounds, with frequent bending and stooping.
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
  • Diligent attention to safety, with a strong commitment to preventing accidents and injuries.
