Job Title: Groundskeeper/Custodial Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper/Custodial Position at the Winchendon Housing Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the exterior and interior of our facilities, including landscaping, cleaning, and performing various maintenance tasks. This is a full-time position requiring a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the exterior and interior of our facilities, including landscaping, cleaning, and performing various maintenance tasks.
  • Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, and hand tools to perform tasks.
  • Perform snow removal and other seasonal tasks as required.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of different types of flooring systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a CORI/SORI review and Physical Fitness/Complete Drug Screening exam.
