Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Deliver patient care in accordance with the directives of registered nurses or physicians, adhering to your licensure scope.
- Assist in patient assessments and ensure their overall well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Conduct laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health considerations, available resources, and follow-up care.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire or transfer.
- Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant job-specific experience.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification may substitute for education or experience, if applicable.
