Position Overview:
In the role of Senior Staff Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving Continuous Improvement initiatives within a growing manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include optimizing existing production lines and enhancing capacity while minimizing waste and losses. You will oversee critical capital projects from inception to completion, which encompasses concept development, scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, and funding management.

In this capacity, you will represent your broader team, collaborating cross-functionally with leadership, staff, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the capital budget aimed at improving and maintaining equipment and facilities, particularly electrical systems.
2. Create designs and solutions that comply with engineering safety, production, sanitation, and accounting standards, focusing on electrical responsibilities.
3. Supervise the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing systems, ensuring proper electrical integration.
4. Monitor external contractors to ensure adherence to company standards, including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity, and budget compliance, specifically regarding electrical tasks.
5. Prepare estimates, schedules, and documentation for construction related to assigned projects, with an emphasis on electrical requirements.
6. Evaluate bids, award contracts, and issue purchase orders, taking into account the electrical components of the projects.
7. Provide engineering consulting services to business teams, offering expertise in electrical systems.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or project management capacity within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or similar environment, with a focus on electrical responsibilities.

The estimated salary range for this position is $89,000 to $124,000. Please note that this range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting.

Final compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
