Neurosurgery APP Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurosurgery team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support the neurosurgery service under the supervision of neurosurgery and neuro-critical care faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform physical exams, ensuring accurate chart documentation.
- Perform procedures, including EVDs and bolt removal, and assist neurosurgeons during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients in the post-op period and provide education to medical students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nursing students.
- Master's Degree for physician assistant and successful completion of certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- 1-3 years related clinical experience preferred.
- PA-Physician Assistant - State Medical Board Required and BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
