Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Communications Therapist to join our team at Driscoll Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and be certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

About the Role
As a Pediatric Speech Specialist, you will provide Speech Language Pathology services to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families on communication strategies. You will also participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and techniques.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or current Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Intern.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellow Status with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
