Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Saint Francis Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, equipment, and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or vocational degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a related field
  • Current BLS certification and PALS, ACLS, EMT, or EMT-B certification preferred
Work Environment

This is a 7-week contract position with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work days and evenings, including up to every other weekend as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
