Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to obstetric patients in a patient-centered care model.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data to determine patient diagnoses or issues
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate obstetrical patients for situations that may compromise mother and fetus well-being
  • Participate in routine deliveries and planned or emergent Cesarean Sections
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
  • Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or multistate licensure
  • 1 year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery
  • BSN preferred
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS Instructor certification within 60 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor certification prior to employment start date
