Overview:

We are looking for a committed Operations Supervisor to become part of our innovative startup focused on the pasteurization of nuts and seeds, along with their repackaging for distribution. In this pivotal role, you will manage all production facets and act as the overall supervisor of the facility, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a small team of 5-10 staff members, promoting a collaborative work atmosphere and enhancing productivity.
  2. Establish and uphold rigorous food safety standards and protocols, ensuring alignment with industry regulations (e.g., SQF-BRC-Organic).
  3. Oversee logistics and inventory management, including shipping and receiving operations.
  4. Leverage industry expertise to refine production workflows, uphold high-quality benchmarks, and resolve operational challenges.
  5. Work closely with various teams to achieve production targets and support organizational growth initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership within a food production setting.
  • In-depth understanding of food safety laws and practices.
  • Proven skills in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a startup or dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in food safety (GMP compliance).
