We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines
- Provide preventative maintenance services to customers
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces
- Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
