Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cantina Server to join our team at Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and accurately input orders into the computer system.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu, daily specials, and preparation of foods and prices.
  • Suggestive Selling: Use your skills to upsell cocktails, appetizers, desserts, and other menu items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive atmosphere.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a server or bartender in a dining establishment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a positive attitude.
