A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED NURSING AIDE
As a Licensed Nursing Aide, you play an essential role in our facility. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for our residents, which involves assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support. You will follow the resident care plans and assignments closely, ensuring each individual receives the attention they require.
Attention to detail is crucial as you will monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You will also assist with range of motion exercises as necessary.
In your role, you will observe and report any changes in residents' conditions, behaviors, or attitudes, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant regulations and facility policies. Your friendly and approachable nature will help you foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and your coworkers. The impact you have on the lives of our residents is significant, making you an ideal candidate for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED NURSING AIDE
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Current certification/registration to practice in Kansas.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
- Genuine desire to work with the elderly population.

WORK SCHEDULE
