Job Summary

The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. This includes accurately positioning patients, performing regular maintenance on CT scanners, administering radiocontrast agents, evaluating CT scans for technical quality, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • AAS in Applied Science in Radiologic Technology
  • Radiologic technologist certification (RT) from the ARRT
  • Possession of a valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
