Job Overview

Heritage Environmental Services is seeking a highly skilled Field Chemist to join our team in Inwood, WV. As a Field Chemist, you will be responsible for completing fieldwork that requires segregating, packing, labeling, and manifesting waste for shipment and disposal.

About the Position:

  • Lead a field crew to segregate, pack, label, and manifest hazardous waste for disposal at HTS and other sites.
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with customers and colleagues.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and Access to manage data and reports.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and off-shift work, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Truck driving, waste pick-ups, and leading field service jobs.
  • Fieldwork that requires segregating, packing, labeling, and manifesting waste for shipment and disposal.
  • Work with Account Reps to prepare disposal quotes.
  • Work with customers to resolve loose and lab pack discrepancies.
  • Maintain lab and loose pack databases and hard copy files.
  • Other duties as assigned.
