Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Companion II Caregiver to join our dynamic care team. As a Companion II Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing non-medical personal care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, ambulation, eating/feeding, and continence care.
  • Skincare and Hygiene: Monitor and maintain the health of clients' skin, including skin monitoring and skin care.
  • Range of Motion and Exercise: Assist clients with range of motion exercises and muscle strengthening exercises to maintain optimal functioning.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
  • Meal Planning and Preparation: Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Accompaniment and Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed.
  • Household Tasks: Assist clients with routine household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them to maintain their mental and emotional well-being.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have an active and unencumbered CNA, PCA, or HHA license in the state.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, family members, and office staff.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable source of transportation, including an insured vehicle.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of care and support to clients.
