About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting the system design, architecture, and software for Blink, Ring, and all of Amazon Devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and refine system requirements, develop interoperability-related features, and ensure system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and self-healing automation.
  • Influence and partner to develop technical strategies for overall system designs.
  • Solve complex problems using cutting-edge technology, software, systems design, architecture, process, and operations.
  • Actively participate in team reviews of architecture, design, operations, process, systems, and post-incident analysis.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.
