Job Summary:
As a key member of our production team, the Operator 1 will be responsible for assisting with raw material staging, equipment operation, plant maintenance, and preparation of finished goods. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate filter presses, ensuring efficient and effective processing of raw materials
- Assist with loading tanks with raw materials, utilizing pumping, pouring, and scooping methods
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and containers, adhering to strict safety and quality standards
- Operate a forklift, high lift, and pallet truck, as needed, to ensure efficient material handling
- Assist with drum filling, following sterile guidelines, drum rolling and palletizing
- Verify labeling and container weight accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Follow special handling procedures and safety requirements when working with caustic, acidic and flammable chemicals
- Perform general repairs and maintenance as needed, to ensure optimal equipment performance
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
