Certified Automotive Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Automotive State Inspector to join our team at Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in our preventive maintenance services.

• Perform State-Specified Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with state regulations and safety standards.
• Gather and Input Guest Information: Collect and input guest and maintenance information into our computer system to ensure accurate records and efficient service delivery.
• Review Oil Options and Vehicle Recommendations: Evaluate oil options and vehicle manufacturer recommendations to provide customers with the best possible service.
• Communicate with Guests: Clearly explain services, pricing, and recommendations to guests, and answer any questions they may have.
• Escort Guests to the Lounge: Provide exceptional customer service by escorting guests to the lounge and informing them of available amenities.
• Communicate Additional Services: Communicate additional services requested to upper management and gather necessary items/parts for installation/service.
• Review Invoiced Items: Review invoiced items with guests, accept payment for services, and inform guests of value-added items and offer invitations for return visits.

• Valid Certification: Possess a valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections.
• Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate the ability to organize, clean, and maintain all tools, machines, and inspection areas.
• Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Physical Demands: Be able to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
