Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our team at Medical Imaging & Therapeutics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT scanning and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

As a Lead CT Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting the IR doctor with biopsies and special procedures, as well as performing a variety of tasks such as setting up and cleaning up sterile procedures, taking vitals, and preparing biopsy specimens.

You will also be expected to work closely with patients and radiologists to ensure the highest level of care and satisfaction.

Our team at MIT is dedicated to providing quality care and building strong relationships with our patients.

We are a small facility with a focus on quality and patient relationships, and we are looking for someone who is ambitious, adventurous, and willing to take on new challenges.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with biopsies and surgical procedures in a CT and C-Arm
  • Setting up and cleaning up sterile procedures
  • Taking vitals and beginning consultations of patients for procedures
  • Preparing biopsy specimens and requisitions
  • Package and prepare specimens for pickup
  • Assisting with patient care for other techs when needed
  • Draw blood, take vitals, and perform Istat testing

We are a state-certified surgical center and a center for Interventional Radiology, affiliated with the University of Florida as a training center for residents and fellows.

We perform a variety of IR procedures, including port insertions, vascular access, biopsies, angioplasties, vein ablations, tumor ablations, kyphoplasties, pain injections, paracentesis and thoracentesis, pleurodesis, etc.
