Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Workforce Instructor to provide educational instruction to students in Continuing Education non-credit courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned subject/topics in accordance with course syllabus, semester schedule, and college mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct student assessments/testing and educational/vocational goal setting for all assigned students.
  • Complete daily class attendance rosters and accurately document student absences.
  • Develop and submit learning documentation and course syllabi to program directors.
  • Maintain familiarity with current course textbooks, classroom materials, and teaching techniques.
  • Prepare and submit student-related forms, including student evaluations and attendance rosters.
  • Notify program directors of any support services students may need and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.
Requirements
  • An associate degree from a regionally accredited institution or a minimum of three years of experience in the industry.
  • Proven work experience in the relevant industry and proven training and/or teaching experience.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with a sedentary work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in an office setting with minimal physical effort.
