Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven clinician to join our team at River Haven Counseling Center, LLC in McDonough, Georgia.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients ages 6-25 years old
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to develop treatment plans and goals
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a counseling-related field
  • Licensed eligible in the state of Georgia
  • Experience working with children, teens, and/or parents
  • Familiarity with play therapy, art therapy, parenting education, and/or behavioral interventions
